X2Go: Remote access for your Linux box.

X2go is a great application for remotely accessing your Linux computer from a Windows, Linux, or Mac PC. What makes this unique for Linux is that you are able to connect to your computer at the login screen. Perhaps you are booting into a headless system and don't want a GUI running all the time. With X2Go you are able to select your desktop environment before connecting. For the session it will launch that GUI and then exit it upon logout.

What is keeping you on Windows?

What applications are you still using that are keeping you tied to the Microsoft Windows operating system? For me Photoshop is one of the only applications I use that won't run on Linux. My gaming library for Linux has been growing by leaps and bounds. As of October 2014 I have 181 Linux supported games in my Steam library. With the in-home feature I can play any of my games on my Linux machine.

Plesk2GDrive: Simple to use Backup Script

Plesk2GDrive is a script I created that will take your most recent Plesk server backup, create a single TAR file, and then uploads that TAR file to Google Drive using the day of the week as the file name. This allows you to create a cron job at any interval greater than 24 hours. If you do a nightly backup there will be a file for each day of the week in your Google Drive backup folder.
